Project Management

During its development as an area of expertise, project management has become an interface between engineering and management theory.  In this sense, project management primarily involves defining objectives, scheduling work stages, producing cost estimates and implementation plans, monitoring project status, quality, and cost; and reporting on a project's degree of success. 

All aspects of project management are aimed at performing a defined task in the most economical way possible for the client. Project management is done according to certified work processes which ensure traceable interaction and decision-making. A project's success is evaluated by comparing the results achieved with predefined objectives based on the client's interests, conventional factors (whether the project was completed on schedule at the estimated cost), and the participants' profit expectations.
